We set out to make quality products that stand up against the best brands, with an uncompromising approach to sustainability. To achieve this aim all Chalk Stream products are delivered in a compostable pouches which you then decant into your bottle.
You don't need to use Chalk Stream bottles, however you do get one free with your first order of each product you buy. Our bottles are designed to last and they are printed instead of having a label. Our pumps are the only plastic we use, because it’s surprisingly difficult to source a great pump that isn't made of plastic, however they are built to last. They come with a 365 day guarantee, if they fail for any reason just let us know and we will send you a new one straight away.
Filling your bottle is simple, just follow the steps below:
The pouch is certified commercially compostable, please place in your garden waste bin, it will also breakdown in your home compost in approximately 32 weeks. Please don’t place in your food waste bin as all plastic like material is removed (even the compostable food waste bags supplied by your council!)
The refills are designed to break down quickly, so please use them within 10 days of receipt. If you’re buying a present, we suggest you fill the bottles before giving it to the recipient.
Don’t forget to order your refills as it’s only when you start to refill your bottles that we start to save plastic.
